How to backup and restore Firefox bookmarks

Bookmarks help to remember and store the websites we visit often. It is quite obvious that Firefox may crash when we do regular software updates or when we install a new add-on or at the time of regular maintenance activities. It is always advisable to have a backup of Firefox bookmarks. Creating a backup of bookmarks is very simple. Just follow the below steps to backup and restore Firefox bookmarks.

Backup Firefox bookmark

To backup Firefox bookmark follow the below steps:

1) Press Ctrl+Shift+B or go to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks this will bring you to the bookmark Manager Window where you will see all the saved bookmarks.

2) Go to Import and Backup > Export HTML and save the file in a safe location. The exported html file will contain all the saved bookmarks.

3) Backup completed.

Restore Firefox bookmark

To restore Firefox bookmark follow the below steps:

1) After Firefox installation is complete.

2) Open Firefox and Press Ctrl+Shift+B or go to Organize Bookmarks this will bring you the bookmark Manager Window.

3) Go to Import and Backup > Import HTML and select the option From an HTML File and the select the exported html file and open.

4) Now you will have all your bookmarks restored.

    If you delete history from yesterday, can you check on it the next day?
